NLA, the Norwegian Association of Landscape Architects will be hosting the 56th IFLA World Congress, Common Ground in Oslo. We received 600 abstracts and the comittees are currently at work on the program for breakout sessions. The congress themes are:

·         Sustainable Urban Transformation
·         Green Mobility
·         Beautiful and Healthy Cities
·         Participation and Public Mission

Important dates:
Notification of acceptance or rejection, feedback from reviewers: 15 February 2019
Complete program will be presented in April.
Early Bird Registration closes: 31 May 2019
World Congress: 18 – 19 September 2019

WALKS + TALKS

On Friday, 20 September, NLA will be hosting a series of WALKS + TALKS in some of Oslo’s most interesting areas. We will follow the seafront and riverways where some of the most exciting transformation-areas are found. The walks cover themes such as urban ecology and green mobility, as well as visits to historical and contemporary parks and urban open spaces.

Join us to explore Oslo by foot, tram, tube, bike, boat or swim!
