The 8th International Landscape Architecture Exhibition 2019
Belgrade, Wednesday, 5 June 2019 – Friday, 28 June 2019
The 8th edition of the International Landscape Architecture Exhibition will include an exhibition of plans, realized and non-implemented projects, studies, publications, video works and student projects in the field of landscape architecture. The Selection Committee had chosen 72 projects from different categories which will be exhibited and presented in the Exhibition Catalogue. Besides projects from Serbia (34 projects), the selected projects are arriving from 17 other countries: Slovenia (5), Croatia (5), China (4), Greece (4), Bolivia (2), India (2), Montenegro (2), Poland (2), Romania (2), Turkey (2), Ukraine (2), Belgium (1), Brazil (1), Bosnia and Herzegovina (1), Italy (1), Spain (1) and United Arab Emirates (1).
The exhibition will be at the Gallery of Science and Technology of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Đure Jakšića 2 Street, Belgrade) and is open to visitors from Wednesday, 5th of June 2019 until Friday, 28th of June 2019.
On Thursday, June 6th 2019, at 6:30 pm, the International Jury will present the winning projects at the Great hall (located between 2nd and 3rd floor) of the Union of Engineers and Technicians of Serbia, at Kneza Milosa st. 7a , Belgrade). At the same occasion, the winners of the “Aleksandar Krstic” Award for the best domestic realized project will present their project. Last, but not least, Prof. Fritz Auweck from Germany, Special guest of this 8th International Landscape Architecture Exhibition 2019 will present the Key Note Lecture “Contemporary Relevance – Landscape Architecture Projects in Germany“.

On Friday, June 7th 2019, at 6 pm, at the Gallery of Science and Technology of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Exhibition will be officially open, accompanied with the formal awards ceremony.
During the month of June 2019, the Exhibition will be accompanied with the series of lectures and round tables dedicated the various issues related to the various topics and challenges related to the landscape architecture as a still an emerging profession, especially in the developing countries.
