The Norwegian Association of Landscape Architects (NLA) have the pleasure to invite you to the IFLA/NLA seminar in Oslo, „Landscape and Democracy“. In 2014 the Norwegian people are celebrating 200 years to the signing of the constitution. This important event opens up a special opportunity for the NLA to host the IFLA conference 2014.
The conference on 17th October „Landscape and Democracy“ will take place at the university campus of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences at Ås, 30 km south of Oslo. Directly after the conference there will be a reception at NMBU.

Hotel accomodation
Rooms are reserved at the Comfort Hotel Grand Central from Thursday 16th Oct until Monday 20th October.
The hotel is situated at the Oslo Central Station. Please choose your nights in the registration form.
Rooms can be booked in the registration form, by mail or by phone. To obtain special price, you need the booking code given in the link above.
IFLA General Assembly 2014
Address: The NLA office in the House of Architects, Josefines gate 34, Oslo.
Schedule: Saturday 18th Oct at 8.30-18.30 and Sunday 19th Oct at 8.30-16.30.
After the GA on Saturday evening there will be a guided tour to the Oslo Opera House , before dining at Restaurant Skansen.
IFLA ExCo meetings (Only for ExCo members.)
Schedule: Thursday 16th Oct at 16.00-20.00 in Comfort Hotel Grand Central and Monday 20th Oct at 9.30-16.45.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 25TH August
The hotel rooms are reserved until 26th August, and rooms that are not confirmed by then will be cancelled.
